Typical Days at the Rising Wolf
Sample Retreat Schedule
Below is an example of how our days typically look at the Rising Wolf and/or how you might structure your group’s retreat. As always, we’re not on a strict schedule here and are happy to meet your wants and needs.
Day 1
5:30 pm
Airport Pickup
We pick up our guests at the Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell. If you arrive earlier, feel free to take an Uber into the quaint town to walk and shop or get a bite to eat. The alternative pickup spot is our favorite local coffee shop - Montana Coffee Traders in Kalispell.

6:30 pm
Check-in
Get acquainted with the Rising Wolf - we’ll give you a tour, show you to your cabin and make sure you have everything you need - including bear spray!

7:00 pm
Dinner Meet & Greet
Say hello to your fellow retreaters over dinner at the pavilion and enjoy local huckleberry bars for dessert!

8:30 - 10:00 pm
Stargazing & Campfire
Settle in for a nightcap by the bonfire and gaze at the stars. Off-the-grid with no light pollution, we enjoy spectacular views of the night skies at the Rising Wolf.
Day 2-5
7:00 - 8:00 Am
Coffee Hour
The coffee bar is open at the main house with hot teas, coffee, and a light offering of fruit and nuts before your yoga class.

8:00 Am
Yoga Offerings
Yoga is offered at the Rising Wolf Studio. All levels are welcome. If you’re leading a yoga retreat, the studio is available for your use during this time or whatever time works best for your schedule.

9:00 - 10:00 Am
Breakfast & Pack Your Pack
Breakfast is served at the main house, and you’ll likely be getting your pack packed for they day’s excursions. Typically lunch is packed for your whole group by your leader or guide.

10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Excursions
You and your group will head out for the day - maybe a hike in the park, a day at the lake, a mountain biking adventure, river rafting or a combination of activities. The Rising Wolf staff will get you to where you want to go.

5:00 - 6:30 pm
Shower & Regroup
We fire up the outdoor showers for you to freshen up and prepare to relax.

7:00 pm
Dinner
Barbecue pitmaster Clay Allison cooks
locally-sourced fare over a wood-fired stove.
For one of our evenings together, we’ll take the whole crew “into town” to enjoy the night life of Polebridge — live music and fantastic dinners at the Northern Lights & Huckleberry Bear Claws at the Mercantile.

Wood-fired Sauna
Let your muscles relax and detox in the wood-fired sauna.

Stargazing & Campfire
Story-tellin’, guitar-pickin’, stargazin’ and campfire-sittin’
Final Day
9:00 AM
Breakfast
For our final breakfast together, Brooke & Clay serve up buttermilk flapjacks, honeycakes, baked eggs and bacon, house-cured sausage, and more campsite vittles.

Airport Shuttle
We’ll say our goodbyes and exchange addresses before the van leaves for Kalispell. We recommend booking your flight out at 11 am or later. Airport check-in at our little airport generally takes less than 10 minutes.
